QUESTIONING BEING FREE OF WORRY

THE QUESTION

What would being free of worry change—and what would it not change?

“Just for today, I am free of worry.”

Being free of worry can sound as though something must first be resolved.

The future must become certain.

The problem must disappear.

The Human I care about must be safe.

The decision must be made.

The outcome must be known.

But what if being free of worry does not require any of those things to happen first?

Questioning freedom from worry does not require me to stop caring, stop preparing, stop paying attention, or decide that everything will be okay.

It allows me to Question what I believe worry must continue doing.
